About Cabot Creamery

Cabot Creamery Co-operative has been in continuous operation in Vermont since 1919, and makes a full line of cheeses, Greek yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese, and butter. Widely known as makers of “The World’s Best Cheddar,” Cabot is a cooperative of hundreds of dairy farm families belonging to Agri-Mark, the Northeast’s premier dairy cooperative. Agri-Mark/Cabot farms are located throughout New England and upstate New York.

At Cabot sustainability is more than a concept, it’s a way of life. For generations our farmers have found better ways to power their farms and care for their land and water, and they haven’t stopped seeking continuous improvement. We look beyond our co-operative and view Cabot as part of the solution to managing climate change impacts through our participation in the Farm Powered Strategic Alliance.

As more Farm Powered Strategic Alliance projects expand across our region and country we are eager to be involved and to cultivate more of these circular solution approaches that reduce our environmental impact.
